Untitled Combinatorial Game for 2 Players (beta)
A downloadable game for Windows
A customisable 2-player board game influenced by Go and Splatoon.
P1 uses WASD and P2 uses the arrow keys, intended for something like Parsec or IRL.
Players paint squares in the arena by landing on them. Additionally, if you fully surround a region with your color, then that entire region also becomes your color!
There is a total number of moves that can be made per game; the match ends when these run out. When the game ends, the player with the most territory is the winner.
This can be offset by enabling Tiebreaks: a setting which allows the game to continue after the total moves run out (as long as the score is neutral).
There is also a Realtime setting which removes the turn-based element, allowing for a more frenetic couch-PvP style experience. Tiebreaks can also be used in this mode!
This game needs a lot more testing and analysis before I do much more with it. Enjoy, and do let me know what you think!
